James Eveling, Managing Director
James is Managing Director of Woodgate and Clark Limited and of Van Ameyde UK Holding Limited. He is also a main board director of sister company marine Van Ameyde McAuslands, the UK arm of the Van Ameyde Marine Network.
Before joining Woodgate & Clark, James spent many years working for large law firms, going on to found and grow his own commercial legal practice operating across the South West of England. During that time, he became involved with the Van Ameyde Group in both the UK and Europe, handling several key acquisitions including that of Woodgate & Clark in 2015. James joined the company in January 2023, becoming Managing Director in June 2023.

Graeme Fitzpatrick, Operations Director

Graeme is Operations Director for Woodgate & Clark and a main board director.
A highly skilled major loss adjuster, Graeme has handled a number of high-profile material damage, business interruption and third-party property claims across a wide range of industries, and his expertise, attention to detail and ability to solve complex issues are often called upon by clients. Graeme also has extensive executive management experience gained through a variety of senior roles in the industry.
When he’s not working Graeme is a keen cyclist and also enjoys travelling to far-flung locations.
Graeme is Operations Director for Woodgate & Clark and a main board director.

Simon Jones, Client Development Director

Simon is a main board director, leading our client services team, responsible for both existing and new business development. He is a chartered loss adjuster with a comprehensive understanding of claims, having handled complex, high-profile, and varied losses throughout his career.
Simon has been successful in a range of claims and management positions, enabling him to not only develop his technical expertise, but also to grow his talents in people management, customer service and design solutions for clients, most recently as a board director with Quadra Claims Services.

Richard Wilson, Director of Specialist Services

With a 30-year career in loss adjusting, Richard is an accomplished and trusted loss adjuster for all types of property damage claims. Richard spent 15 years with a major insurer, where he had responsibility for quality standards, service performance and staff training. He has been a valued and respected member of the Woodgate & Clark Specialist Services team since 2017, handling a variety of household, heritage and commercial major losses, most recently heading up our Specialist Services team in the North. Richard leads our Specialist Services division across the UK.

Here she has been responsible for service and delivery across the UK and feeding into our recruitment and succession planning teams, securing the resources we need for years to come.
Nic brings a wealth of operational experience to the south region as Director of Regional Operations – South.

Marie Quinn, Director of Regional Operations – Midlands

As Director of Regional Operations for The Midlands, Marie brings over 20 years of leadership experience from within the insurance industry. Holding a senior role within a global insurer, she has driven market-leading best practices and service delivery across a broad range of services. Marie has a proven track record in operational excellence, which she has delivered through motivated and engaged teams, and has also successfully led numerous operational change management programmes.
Marie has significant expertise in counter fraud management and joined Woodgate and Clark in 2020 as Head of Counter Fraud, resulting in the team being recognised at The Post Magazine Claims and Fraud Award 2022 as “Best Independent Fraud Team of the Year.”

Glyn Brookes-Humphrey, Director of Regional Operations – North

Glyn has worked in insurance claims handling for over 25 years, with over 20 of those spent in loss adjusting. Starting his career as a claims handler with exposure to all classes of property and motor claims, Glyn moved into commercial property with another major insurer and from here to adjusting in 1999. After a couple of spells as a general adjuster, he briefly worked as a fraud investigator before moving to a large loss adjuster, where he progressed from adjusting to operational management 10 years ago. Glyn joined Woodgate & Clark in January 2022 as Operations Manager.

Marion is founder and Director, Spotlite Claims, and became an entertainment claims adjuster in 1988.
A fluent French and German speaker, over the last 30+ years she has handled some of the most complex international entertainment claims, encompassing both property damage and shoot interruption in film, TV and advertising arenas and several significant UK and international studio and back-lot fires. During the pandemic, she coordinated the handling of large volumes of COVID-19 shut-down claims for all sectors of the entertainment industry, including promoters of rock and pop events and film and TV.

Prior to joining Woodgate & Clark, Alison spent 10 years working at the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA), where she was responsible for the development of the CILA brand, sponsor relationships, volunteer engagement and the provision of CPD activities.
Alison is a Director within our Client Services team, responsible for account management and business development.
Her 25 year career in loss adjusting has included roles in claims handling, process improvement, quality and compliance, plus employee training and development.

Outside of his working life, Mike enjoys gardening, bird watching and listening to music. He also holds a season ticket for Tottenham Hotspur FC where he experiences regular frustration and disappointment.

Ellie Page, Finance Director
Ellie joined Woodgate & Clark as Finance Director at the end of June 2024.
As a CIMA qualified Chartered Accountant, Ellie is a strong and passionate leader, bringing 15 years of expertise in insurance and financial services industries.
Ellie has extensive experience in running planning and budgeting processes, large investment projects and business cases for a large corporate and has built and maintained strong relationships with many executive teams and boards to enable the delivery of business strategy, as well as provision of strong commercial insight to elevate business performance, drive efficiencies and maximise revenue.
Ellie joined Woodgate & Clark as Finance Director at the end of June 2024.

Having started her career in law with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Exeter, and a subsequent Masters at BPP Law School, Claire brings an in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and best practice, particularly in the areas of M&A, change management, and HR practice and policy development.

Nia Roberts , Head of Risk & Compliance
Nia joined Woodgate & Clark in 2023 and has overall responsibility of risk management and compliance for the UK group.
Nia conducts regular reviews of the risks facing the business, assessing future ventures, and keeping abreast of regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
Nia has worked in financial services for over a decade, latterly in risk management & compliance in the insurance industry. She also has an advanced accreditation in International Regulatory Compliance.
Nia joined Woodgate & Clark in 2023 and has overall responsibility of risk management and compliance for the UK group.

In this role Gordon is responsible for harnessing the data the business captures every day, monitoring company performance through transparent analytics that deliver strategic insights – as well as reporting results and sharing performance narratives with our clients; providing them with the assurances they require for trusting us to handle their customers' claims to the highest standards.
Working in the insurance industry for over 30 years, Gordon has held numerous senior operational leadership and business analytics roles with major insurance and loss adjusting companies, bringing a wealth of experience with him to Woodgate & Clark.
