Woodgate & Clark continues with its senior recruitment strategy by appointing Gordon Young into a new role of Head of Business Analytics.
Young, who was previously at RSA in a variety of senior leadership roles, is the latest hire by Woodgate & Clark as it responds to growth in its loss adjusting business. He reports to Operations Director Graeme Fitzpatrick and began his new role at the start of March.
Graeme Fitzpatrick explained that Young will lead and further develop the firms MI and analytics strategy, enhancing their ability to offer clients accurate and up to the minute market insight by using state of the art methods to capture and extract data.
“Our clients rightfully demand and expect the best MI and reporting on their claims activity, and Gordon will be a pivotal player in making sure we are able to service these competing demands, as well as helping to provide analysis and counsel to internal colleagues on a wide range of business activities.”

Gordon has worked in the insurance industry throughout his career, joining General Accident in 1988. As well as RSA he has held senior roles at General Accident and the Insurance Service, and latterly at Sedgwick where he was Head of Fraud Data and Insight.
